I've discovered lessons in every film I've crafted and each book I've penned. My primary goal has never been to instruct or guide others; my focus has always been on personal learning and growth. However, if my work can ultimately become a reservoir of wisdom for others, it transforms my journey from one that's entirely self-centered into a meaningful contribution to the broader community. This enlightenment became incredibly vivid during the production of "Alice Parker," a cherished documentary within the tapestry of my lifelong creative voyage.

"Alice Parker" is more than just a film with multiple awards; it's a testament to the transformative power of collaboration, music, and human connection. This documentary takes you on a journey into the life and work of the talented composer, teacher, and director Alice Parker. For an entire year, I had the privilege of collaborating with her, and it was an incredible experience that I will cherish forever. I learned so much from her, and the time I spent with her transformed me.

As the director of this project, I had the honor of delving into the world of a remarkable individual. Alice's passion for music and her unique teaching methods touched the hearts of many. Her arrangements and compositions have left an indelible mark on choral music. Throughout our collaboration, I had the opportunity to witness her dedication to her craft, her tireless pursuit of excellence, and her unwavering commitment to sharing the joy of music with the world.

I was fortunate enough to capture the essence of Alice Parker's work and life on film. It is a story of passion, resilience, and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many. But it's not just her story; it's a story that holds lessons for all of us.
