About the Event
"The Other Madison" is a film by Eduardo Montes-Bradley based on the original book by Bettye Kearse. The presentation at The Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico will be introduced by Pamelya Herndon, with the participation of Christian Cotz from The First Amendment Museum as guest historian.
Pamelya Herndon serves as the President/CEO of the KWH Law Center for Social Justice and Change, a nonprofit law center focused on providing access to justice for low and medium-income individuals with an emphasis on advocating for the rights of women, children, and families with children. In addition, Pamelya serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the African American Performing Arts Center in Albuquerque where she helps to develop programming for the only African American Performing Arts Center in the Southwest. She will host African American Influence in Contemporary and Classical Music on KUNM Radio on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 12 noon on the KUNM - FM Public Radio Program Women's Focus.
